i had way too much fun during my 4-day stay, and i already cant wait to go back. im still thinking about the next time ill ever get to eat authentic pho and banh mi…
and as someone who loves good clothing, im telling u ho chi minh’s local clothing stores are so underrated, especially for it’s designs, fit, and quality all for a really affordable price. we had to visit the shops every single day. i want them all in my wardrobe!

this made me tear up 🥲 i was there a month ago. i met a girl (we are both viet from the states) and we went to Meraki for our first date. We spent my last week together and i miss it all and her so much

@@tatisardea3466 Nothing happened per se, but we had to go back to our own lives. I think I may love her, but there is just no reality where we can be together. We are still talking here and there, but its nothing like our time in Saigon. What if I never find anything like that again? 🥲

@@tatisardea3466 Meraki was the "first date" but how we met was something like a movie too 🥲I was at a cafe alone and she and her cousin (who is a local) came up to me and asked to help them take a picture in vietnamese. they made small talk but they could tell i was a foreigner from my vietnamese. Anyways, i didn't think much of the interaction and as I was sitting alone, she came up to me before they left and told me that she was actually viet-american too and that she love to hang out so we exchanged information. So we met at Meraki later that night. So the crazy part is that I was scheduled to leave the next day (I was originally meeting family in VN for only 15 days) but my family extended my trip for 10 days just the day before I met her. And she happened to just fly in just days before as well. And we ended up exploring the place where our parents were born and living in our own world 🥲

You have good taste- will try your pho place. Do you have a hotel recommendation for me? Also- was the Mekong Delta trip via Klook worth the travel hassle and heat?

yes do try the pho and enjoy! i dont have a hotel recommendation in mind. as for the mekong delta trip, it was worth it for me, and klook made it hassle free with the transportation and the guide. although, some of my company did have to sit out on some of the activities due to the heat.
