Worked in photo interpretation intelligence December 72-73. There to work air intelligence during the "Christmas Bombing" of Hanoi. Looked at Air America aerial photography from Laos, recon from the SR-71 Blackbird.

Udon was also one of the main bases for Air America, the CIA run "airline" during the Vietnam war. I was up there in 1970 and they told us not to photograph the Air America facility which had a lot of unmarked aircraft in front of it.

It's good you mentioned that! If I remember correctly from reading the fascinating book 'Ravens' a lot of operations were carried out over Laos from there also.

MY ARMY K-9 GUARDED THAT BASE IN 72-75 TIMESPAN,,I handled him when he was shipped to Korea in 76,CHAMP Y070
