Sorry for the history lesson Daley, but you said "Hellcat" in the intro of your video referring to the middle TD in the front of the entrance. that TD is actually the M36, unofficially known as the "Jackson", not the M18 Hellcat. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M36_tank_destroyer) Here is a Wikipedia page for reference. Also the T-34s in the video were the T-34-85 variant, not the T-34-76 types. You can tell this by it's larger roundish turret that is almost overlapping the hull. I recommend watching the Soviet movie "T-34" for reference. It is free to watch on KZfaq. This is a really good video though and I highly enjoyed it. :)

T-34 76 is the predecessor of the T-34/85. Also, hellcat is considered obsolete due to its light armor and its gun which is similar to the light tank M41 Bulldog.

In this major offensive, we used more NVA than Viet Cong. The Viet Cong were not regular troops, they were just a group of Communist followers. But the North Vietnamese army was different, the regular army, they had more skills than the Viet Cong. We also do not attack the Japanese emperor style. In fact, we would surround the fortress on all sides and then use tanks or artillery to destroy the wall. We attacked while looking for cover, unlike the Japanese soldiers in World War II. The last thing is that the tank that the NVA used the most is the T-54B, not the T-34.

Daley I put all the troopers in the mgs, mortars, and tanks in free move mode so if the get decrewed the crews can move to cover

I have an idea of how to use this map again. 1. no tanks on either side. 2. the only artillery are the mats, no movable rocket launchers. 3. all browning's stay in the same position that they were in. 4. american troop posistions and number of them stays the same. 5.Veit Cong troop number goes up to 1,500.

абсурд какой то, в Вьетнаме американцы были в нападении, вьетнамцы защищались и из засад нападали. А вот в Северной Корее такие сценки может и были. В инсценировке у нападающей пехоты не хватает минометных расчётов для работы по стенам и траншеям.

In real life, the Viet Cong would have been massacred. A same incident occurred in 1971 between India and Pakistan in the battle of Longewala. 3000 Pakistani troops faced 120 well fortified Indian troops. Pakistan received heavy casualities and pulled back. India had only 2 KIA.

It's the M16A1, Not the A4, the A4 didn't come out until 1990 and Marines are NOT Troopers, Army Rangers and Airborne are, We Never even called Ourselves Solders, Only Marines. @DaleyTactics

You forgot the mortar teams behind the walls and thos rocket launcher units by the front gate would be on top of the walls in the middle, also arty was always within reach of any FOB during the vietnam war era, Military Doctrine still used to this day.

Viet Cong is different from the NVA regular army. Viet Cong are people in the South and even in Saigon, often organizing small groups to fight guerrillas in urban and rural areas to cause damage with purpose to American soldiers and their henchmen. The scale as shown in the video is NVA.

The M10 Wolverine or what you called it Hellcat was in ww2 and it is a M10 Wolverine and I believe the Soviets or Russians supplied the Veitcong because they have Soviet or Russian armament, Russian and Soviet may be the same thing and the U.S. had M16A1s not M16A4s and the VietCong should have had more AK-47s and the U.S. did not have Thompsons

Just google "Vietnam submachine gun Thompson" and you can find some old photos from the Vietnam war of servicemen carrying them. Less common, but still fielded.

У Вьетнамцев небело столько автоматического стрелкового оружия и танков с самоходками в таком изобилии, а если бы были, американцев выбили бы из Вьетнама на много раньше. The Vietnamese didn't have so many automatic rifle and tanks in such abundance, and if they had, the Americans would have been kicked out of Vietnam much earlier.
