banh mi with condensed milk is not just the taste, but the nostalgia of a past where you can't afford fancy meat in your sandwhich. People go to work in the city and instead of bringing fancy items back to the family, they buy long baguette for the kids. Condensed milk used to be not cheap either. Eating sugary thing is a treat anyway, the fatiness of the condensed milk cannot be replicated by any type of cream. It's some thing we grow up with and in our minds it was the best. Haha. The editing is nice specially when you have very energetic camera men to give critics with you. Talking alone is rather redundant tbh.

This new video style is awesome, production quality is much higher and I can see the effort you guys put in on this one. Love it! Please continue posting more like this.

But since you asked for comments about this new style of filming, here it is; the reason why I love watching your videos is because of the raw, unpolished, one person, minimum editing products. So, I’d watch you either way but save yourself post production work and just post that raw filming videos, it’s more you! 😅 (almost forgot, where’s Năm Lùn? She’s very funny👍)

Bánh mì thịt nướng all the way! But the ladies down the street from me make a mean chả cá one as well. 2 weeks and counting till I get to try it all in VN for the first time! As for the new format, here are my impressions (and revealing my biases too maybe): It looks very professional and well edited. It feels like a well thought out presentation, with a sense that everything is going to go as planned. In contrast, your older videos seem to have more an air of discovery, complete with some awkwardness and f-ups. I have really appreciated that willingness to try new things without being sure how it's going to turn out. To me personally that's more relatable, and it's what has set you apart. So, I hope you can strike a comfortable balance between professional presentation and spontaneity, and look forward to seeing how you develop this!

I personally prefer you filming yourself as this changes the flavor, the feel of your usual great videos. It feels more personal, like I’m watching my friend in Vietnam when you film yourself. Using portrait mode blurs the background & I do love to see everything around you. My wife & I enjoy your show & enjoy you growing & succeeding at this, but hold onto your roots that made your show so great. Thanks for asking.

Vietnamese people inherited Banh mi from French centuries ago when Vietnamese were the French colony. Pho was also originated from the French soup which was then transformed to suit Vietnamese taste.
