Wishing the quality of this video was better because when I was there and looked out over the ocean and the city, I wept because it was so beautiful. I also stood at the base of the statue and couldn't see it because of clouds, and I thought to myself, I really want to see it and take a picute... and then immediately the clouds began to open up in a circle directly around Redentor and I gasped, took a step back and capture three pictures showing the clouds parting. It's so high up there this happens often, but it seemed wonderful and miraculous for that beautiful moment, and then the clouds rolled back in and erased its little miracle.

KingJames BibleBeliever it means not to make any image that you would WORSHIP. Now I'm a christian and I don't worship the crucifix necklace on my neck. I also don't worship this statue of Christ in Brazil. Why would I? It's just made of stone, that's not ACTUALLY the Christ. So what's the problem? If u take that commandment so literally then you're not allowed to make any image of anything. That would mean comics would have to be banned and you couldn't have an image of a cow on the side of a milk bottle. Stop being so law spirited and chillout dude...

Rand0mWiki Yeah man, motly of the areas is safe, but the "Favelas" or "Guetto" is not safe. In 2016 olympic any tourist got hurt, you will not have problems if you stay away from the poor areas... The hotels form the Beach had alot of Police forces.
