The Last 5+ Minutes of Pay-Per-View Ads Before our Cable Operator Kicked it over to the Prevue Channel at which Point our Tape Kept Recording until the end. Enjoy!

Nice to see some "Viewer's Choice" and "Prevue Channel" on this block! Plus, it's even longer too! At that time, I was watching that channel and sometimes taped it on my VCR. There's even a "Happy Thanksgiving" commercial with several movie clips of "Meatballs", "Curly Sue", "Groundhog Day", "National Lampoon's Animal House", "Defending Your Life", "Big" "The Naked Gun" and "Cool Hand Luke".

Pioneer cable boxes would go to this when you would go to a scrambled channel you were not subscribed to. You would see and hear the scrambled channel for a second and then it would go to the Prevue channel. The music at 29:06 is called Lift Me Up - Opening Act. That is the song I will always associate with the Prevue channel.

11/21/93 … instant memories, for me it was age 9 being in 3rd grade , my mom let me stay at my aunts on Friday nights every now & then , she had cable with every channel . I used to stay up late & watch tv while Aunt always cooked for me 🥰🥰

sadly i have only one other prevue channel tape and its from 1995 and its in storage so i cannot upload it at this time

7:25 so that's what happens if you choose not to pay the PPV, right?

well in this case, we already brought the PPV prior to this, when you purchase a PPV your buying a time slot to watch the program, in this case 3 hours; the wrestling event that was up before this ended way early like 40 min, so to fill time the PPV company pads out the remaining time with previews of other programs that you can buy. normally you would have 15 min before the next program, but since this ended 40 min early, some of the previews repeat on its on; obviously if you didn't purchase the next event, it will kick you off the channel onto another, in this case, the preview channel.

This would have been Sunday, November 21, 1993, to be precise....U.S. ThanksGiving happened on Nov. 25 that year, exactly 1 month before Xmas 1993. =P
