I subbed years back from reptile content and truly think your non reptile content is more entertaining. I'm not a car person, but your car content is entertaining, and dare I say funny? I also love your vlog type videos.

I started watching you a few years back because of your video on feeding the bearded dragons different vegetables. Enjoyed watching, so stayed for the reptile content. I knew absolutely nothing about keeping reptiles, low key afraid of the larger snakes back then. Grew up in southwest Florida, lots of snakes, turtles, alligators and those HORRIBLE huntsman spiders! I became emotionally invested during your Rosie videos. It was sad when she passed. Love your Amazon, delivery stuff, your car adventures, even the chickens! **RIP Chickens! I think I would follow your channel even if you started teaching underwater basket weaving. lol. I think it’s cool that you just do whatever you are interested in, learning along the way. Most people are to paralyzed by the infinite number of shit they don’t know how to do.

4:13 automatics arent like manual transmissions. They do same things but are completely built different. Also autos arent necessarily better with the clutch if it uses one. There is a lot of cases where the car burns up the clutch due to slurring it usually in traffic. In a manual you can just put it in first and just idle.

btw serpentine belts wear, and when they break they snap violently sometimes and can really shred wiring harnesses near by and actually some can do even more damage to other components depending on the type of engine. YOU NEED TO GET A NEW BELT> they are made of rubber and its like tires. they wear out and then if you keep ignoring it eventually it will leave you stranded. You dont need to own a car like this. you need an ev. also automatic trans dont have a clutch like a manual, the auto transmissions come in so many varieties and dont operate like a manual thats funny.

In UK here. Manuals are apparently better for control on low speeds I.e. little English back roads, city driving, ice driving. Plus they are generally cheaper to maintain. I dont like driving so personally prefer an automatic where there are less things to focus on.😂

4:13 autos don’t have a clutch they have a torque convertor (depending on the auto) and have clutch packs. They also use planetary gear sets and have a little man named Tim realigning the gears for you not a computer

Excited to see what you do with the car. I just got an 86 myself and started some videos about sound deadening and getting rid of rattles. Planning on some videos more on the fun side of car modding soon!

And your hair is perfectly great the way it is your man that’s how man’s hair grows in when it’s curly and it’s real short can’t see many waves when it’s longer you see waves. Hay look it's me. I would argue for or against but I've not driven an automatic. Manuals here at least are incredibly common, so learning in one just makes it easier, even if you are going to use auto's for the rest of your life. My point in the original comment comes down to it being seen as dangerous driving to the police lol. I would consider at least trying to learn on a none busy road, especially in a car worth that much.

Automatics are not just a computer controlled manual lol. You could argue that some sequential or DTC transmission setups are a computer controlled manual but a traditional automatic transmission us DEFINITELY not a computer controlled manual.

Perfectly valid reason to get the car, get want you want and you'll enjoy it the most. Getting what other people want is just to please others not yourself.

I learned to drive manual (it's more common than automatic in the UK i think) and I like it because I live in a hilly place and my brother's automatic car sounds so stoopid on hills. But I've accidentally grinded my gears and it honestly is one of the worst feelings in the world. I would rather chew chalk.

btw headers can increase power without a tune and especially if your stock catted headers are clapped out and clogged then yeah its even more of a difference.

In Europe everyone drives manual. The only people that drive automatic do it cos they re not v good at driving and would only pass the automatic test but not the manual test

the car may have had a tune with the aftermarket headers and when you swapped it back it goofed it up. it may not have been a placebo. But it's not going to be a BIG difference.
