Love that burnt sienna. Dries to a beautiful tone very well in these old master paintings. You guys always do an amazing on drapery and jewelry aswell !

Elizabeth Louise Vigee Le Brun was a fascinating character in history! I am amazed that someone hasn't done a movie on this woman's life and carreer! To turn pro at the age of 15 and to be hired as the royal portrait artist for Marie Antoinette at the age of 21 was quite a fete in her time...only to have it all come crashing down on her during the reign of terror when she had to go into exile in order to save her life. I love her story and her art. You did a good job on your reproduction!

Would be so much better if you would actually show how to paint the finer details of what people want to learn to do like the eyes, nose and mouth, jewelry and fabrics. You always seem to skip over those parts of your paintings on video. I will watch others from now on. This is very annoying that you skip over the important features like that. It's a shame too because you're an amazing artist.

Linda Sanders I was thinking the same thing but I think you would be better with a instruction book or DVD on how to paint like the old masters. That's the route I will take in the future but its still fun to watch😄
