Honestly, I like to consider it canon that Aragorn was present at Sam’s wedding and he did indeed crouch down and kiss Pippin straight on the mouth.

Kinda surprised no one is talking about how Viggo deliberately lightened the mood with the kiss and got a better performance out of the scene. It's pretty amazing that he could sense things were just a bit tense and awkward, and just improvised a way to make the scene a little less weird. It's just so cool that he elevated the film even in scenes he wasn't in. Makes sense why he was so popular on set.

He was able to get some action by pretending it was a joke on set lmao. There was definitely some truth in the statement about Billy.

I have watched this approximately 4 times and it makes me overwhelmingly happy every time because Viggo is just too adorable. And he looks so genuinely uncomfortable when he talks about wanting to do that to Billy (but he's an actor so that doesn't mean much) but all the same it's too adorable and I love them all.
