This is a montage video that was presented at the award ceremony for Viggo Mortensen on March 5, 2012 at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Anne Continelli was the editor and David Gonzalez wrote the original score heard.

If Viggo wasn't so picky choosy about the roles he picked he might win an Oscar. Problem is, that picky choosiness is the reason he can. He nails all of his roles flawlessly. He has to feel right to play a certain character and its just got to come to him. Great man and actor.

Everyone seems to forget how amazing he is because LOTR (Which I Love) , but it overshadowed his earlier work to many.

I had no memory of him being in GI Jane or Carlito's Way. I liked the female squadron leader a lot. She's what I remember most clearly in GI Jane. I didn't like Carlito's way and remember little about it. The earliest thing I remember him is "The Refeleting Skin."
