When you look at Deku now. He is walking the path many hero’s like him have before. Spider-Man and Superman. Blue Beetle ect. And what held these heroes is their ultimate convictions. It’s a battle for ideals. Deku believes EVERYONE can be saved. Shigaraki believes society is a LIE. And AFO believes in chaos. So these ideals are coming head to head. Because even when everyone they loved dies the hero’s are seen holding on to their convictions because that’s all the have left. That’s the tight rope these fictional characters walk on.
