Pooja is Vijay's best onscreen pair in quite a while. I loved how she wasn't a perfect character- at times Preethi was selfish and contemptuous, but this was countered by her faultless loyalty to Veera and her general composure and demeanour. Definitely do another film together!!

Frankly, Beast is a movie you can watch it many times. Not sure why so much hate towards it. Though there are some bad scenes, Vijay's screen presence, handling Guns, fights are really awesome.

That's the main problem. The movie has a trash script and relies entirely on Vijay's screen presence. There's a limit to how much that can work

Ya I watched it in Netflix yesterday. I am not a vijay fan, but really liked vijay screen presence in the movie The first half was really good..I wish the second half had a solid/believable script and especially the gun stunts could have been better..i.e hero killing everyone with a short gun whereas villains using automatic guns and no bullets gets hit on the hero..it could have had a more crisp screenplay and stunts like first half :(

Well The Stunt Choreography was Best, Songs were Best , Thalapathy Performance Was Best. The Only Lag Was Story And Screenplay. Because Everyone expected that Nelson may Have kept some Twist and All. But the Story Was Simple. That's It, But All together The Movie is a Good Family Entertainer. Some people Just Randomly Spread Hatred.

No I would say the last 25 minutes were the reason for the negative talk of the movie . If I am the editor of the movie would have trimmed the last 25 minutes and just would have showcased like home minister as a traitor and killed the head of hijackers while the main leader was on loose to border the hero's ego at high made him to nearby airport and rob some military jets and eliminated all the members of terrorist and caught the leader with slight fight unlike some comical fight moves from movie. The End And I think it would have satisfied all the fans as well as general movie goers too.

@@puneethj3633 Or That Jet Scene could Be Used as A Flashback Scene of Veeraraghavan As a Raw Agent ( In between selvaraghavan Said That Veera as Took jet and Crossed Borders) . That Would have shown The importance of Raw Agents.

It's not random hatred. It's valid criticism. The movie is good if you either skip it or watch it with low expectations. Otherwise it's below average stuff.

@@puneethj3633 you do realize that in the Nelson Cut the climax was completely different right? The climax actually makes a lot of sense... And Veera was supposed to be KIA like The Dark Knight Rises but in reality is hiding somewhere hinting at a second part
