4:40 I was exactly thinking about this issue regarding charging at outside, this smart plug is definitely a feasible solution for travelers. I hope, very soon, in the coming days, we can notice charging points run by hotels and other shops with this smart plug, just like 1 rupee telephone boxes.

For my Ather, I fill Nitrogen air top up every three weeks, hardly I see 2-3 points less in three weeks. Nitrogen is not only light weight but also controls leakage. Normal compressed air also has 75% nitrogen but remaining 25% allows leakage. So better to use Nitrogen.

Driving on a Petrol scooter itself took me 8hrs during lock down. Even though there are few scenics during the journey, it exhaustive. Appreciate your effort but advise you to refrain from your south India tour on same vehicle, as there could be some unsocial/evil elements try to rob. Take care. Kudos to your effort

Tiresome journey! These EV vehicles are meant for using in the Town and it's surrounding places about 30 Kms radius only. While traveling One has to concentrate more on the electrical charge in the battery rather than maneuvering the traffic. Hope more efficient batteries will come into the existence in very near future!

Since u travel at a speed of 40kmph, please fill tyre pressure by extra 2 psi. This will increase ur vehicles range. It will reduce the road grip but since ur traveling at slow speed it will not ve a problem. With this extra 2psi u can travel 5kms more per charge

For long drives, try to follow any large vehicle to reduce air drag. I follow this for my Alto 800. I really feel the difference in terms of accelerator position vs vehicle speed. For an electric vehicle, this method improves the range for sure.

If you follow ather forums. There is a guy who travelled from bangalore to tirupati back in 2019 with normal ather 450. Its not even 450x which has 10km extra range. I own an ather 450 from oct 2019 i was able to extract 125km range in one charge at 25 to 30kmph. You need a lot of patience to drive at that speed. Due to lockdown couldn't ride much did 13000 kms in the last 2 years. Completed 5k kms in just 2 months of my purchase. Govt should install more chargers in the highways atlesst for every 5 to 10kms . on one end its encouraging people by giving subsidies . in metro station i even get free parking for ev. But infrastructure is important in india to convince people to buy EV.
