Thank you, Abby. i am grateful that you chose to bring your beautiful and moving gifts to the wonderful message in the words of "My Country 'Tis of Thee". i left SGAnon's site to give this a listen simply because he asked his listeners to do so. After hearing this work once, and then twice, i was surprised to see that this was published "8 years ago". My first thought was "God. i could have been listening to this through these deeply troubled times." America's purpose and potential resonates through my heart and mind every day. The first nation ever founded on ideals---so fundamental and yet so highly important that they are yet to be fully realized after two centuries of growing. Still a dream. Even so, a song like yours makes the dream seem closer. A song like this reminds my soul of why we yearn for America's promise to be kept alive. Thanks again, Abby.
