About Melting Me Softly (날 녹여주오):
Go Mi Ran (Won Jin Ah) is a young jobseeker who is told she will be given around US$ 4,200 if she takes part in a cryogenic freezing program. She is told that she will be frozen for just 24 hours and then leave with her money.
Also being frozen is Ma Dong Chan (Ji Chang Wook), a popular entertainment TV producer who is cold as ice when it comes to working - but tends to get hot and passionate when it comes to affairs of the heart.
But instead of waking up a day later, the duo awakes from cryogenic slumber to find they have slept through 20 years. All the people Mi Ran and Dong Chan once knew have aged by 20 years, but their own bodies and memories have not changed at all.
Life 20 years in the future is not easy - and things are made harder for the duo when they discover that should their body temperatures rise above 33 degrees Celsius, they will die.
When Mi Ran and Dong Chan begin developing feelings for each other, temperatures start to rise…spawning all sorts of dramatic consequences.
Will the duo fight back the heat of a potentially fatal romance? And will they discover the mysterious reason why they were frozen for two decades - and the role of the enigmatic Dr. Hwang, the shady figure behind the freezing project?

I actually liked this drama. Maybe it wasn't the best one, but it kept me entertained and I enjoyed watching. The only thing I would've liked is at least one kiss in the last episode. This scene for example when she says please melt me was the best place to add a kiss because they keep showing us how every time they want to kiss their temperature goes up so what better way to melt her than with a kiss while holding her in his arm...specially cause he hasn't been able to even touch her for 3 years. Other than that one little thing, I liked it.

The ending was a total disappointment. They should have added a deep kiss because they are both normal now, so no overheating and they have not seen or touched each other for 2-3 years for him and a few days for her. There should have been more " urgency" , especially for a 'healthy man" like he said he was before , even though she just recovered from freezing and surgery. A total disappointment.

No this drama was actually REALLY good. What WASN’T good was the ending. They rushed it. And that made me really really sad because the rest of the drama was so good and it let me down towards the end. But whoever says this drama is bad needs help lol 😂

I had high expectation from the finale, like I wanted them to do what couples do without limitations (sudden backhug, little kisses before leaving, passionate and happy kisses), BUT let's appreciate THIS SCENE. It was really beautiful, that it didn't really need a kiss here.

Gonna be honest: I expected way more in this reunion, like you haven’t seen each other in how long and a hug is all you can do? Come on, like how can you justify that? The actors aren’t the issue here, the writers just needed to learn how to write good material and throughout the series they went back and forth. The leads did great, but they deserved wayyyy better writing and a better storyline in this show imo

For mi ran it was only like 2 days tho. This is actually how many real life reunions go. You don’t have to jump into each other’s arms right away and kiss. Like the person above me said they’re also from another time, per se.

Actually the problem is we HV seen wook in strong, thrilling hot characters like Healer, K2... Hence dis kind of role is not up to our expectations... Otherwise nothing wrong in dis drama. Hope to see him in something better in coming days

It's really a unique plot.. good to watch... All cast are super cool .. actually the plot ends @12th epsiode, they have dragged after that which made few to feel bore... But it's a nice plot, and yeah they could've given a better ending

I think the main problem is jcw has done way more better drama so people have high expectation. It was his drama After his return from military so i was expecting a grand drama. Like song joongi did or as Lee min ho is doing or Lee seungi did korean Odyssey. I know he tried a different genre but I like him more in action type of drama

Despite all the comments from folks about how this was probably not the best of dramas for JCW I was opposed until this scene... like c'mon writers. The girl has just had a major trauma - frozen, thawed, operated and also had her temperature regulated! So it's very believable that not long after here she is sitting outside in a summer dress in the snow...NAH people that's where you totally lost me. Like what the hay!! #SMH #epicfail
