About Danheim
Danheim is an intense and mysterious Danish Viking music project, inspired by old Scandinavian instruments and sounds blended with modern digital ways to enhance the sound and atmosphere.
With the sounds of dark chants, ancient instruments and sometimes dark themes inspired or consisting of Nordic Mythology and old Danish folklore, the Danheim project, takes us on a journey back in time when humanity lived far more close to nature and it’s gods.

@@NinaNiterose86 giving birth was better back then.... Midwives actually knew what they were doing, its actually ao much more stressfull for a woman to give birth in a hospital surrounded by strangers. In viking/pagan times women were brought into a warm room with blankets and there was ONE midwive and maybe her husband with her. They would give her space and quiet to help her relief stress. Too much adrenaline during labor could kill the mother or baby. Which is why home births are often safer and better for both baby and mother. Only in medieval times did the death rate go extremely up because christians had odd practices

@@risenarts9126 Yo mate, there are SO MANY ways to enjoy the outdoors! For over half a century, I've rejuvenated myself by hiking. Sometimes I go in silence, and sometimes I listen to music. Sometimes listening to music while hiking releases even MORE endorphins, wildly enhancing a natural high. Try it sometime! Wishing you all the best TM. YOU GOT THIS! Your path is SO WORTH IT! In addition, I live right against a park with mountain lions and bears, so sometimes I play music to alert bears or mountain lions, so I don't startle them.

I played this while rock climbing. I've currently for a reason I don't know taken an interest in the Norse pagan religion so I decided to play some of its music while I climb. This was my first time climbing and the only reason I went was because my friend did it and he invited me. I've had a terrible fear of heights all my life and when the time claim to go on the big walls I turned this in. After I got used to it it's like the fear left me. I no longer had it. And I was surprised when I reached the top.

had my first mushroom trip a couple of days ago and this was playing while i walked through a rainy forest with my friends. one of the most amazing experiences ever, i felt as if we were powerful beings walking through ancient scandinavia. i felt connected with my ancestors like never before

not a mushroom trip if you are able to walk. 5g dry at least dark room by yourself .. .thats a mushroom trip. u are pinned to the ground, ego death, and you just transpire through space-time seeing clockwork of the universe, you forget ur name. u forget where u are ... full blown mushroom trip is a diff experience in itself, very humbling! not as pleasant as lower doses, but man ... learning is tremendous.

To anyone who reads this May Odin be you're light as we ride through the darkness. May Mjolnir protect you as you charge. May Freya comfort you in your dying moments. And may the Valkyries carry you to Valhalla abreast their mighty wings to drink and feast with the Warriors of old.

I'm a descendant of the Viking heritage so i basically grew up listening to the real stories of the norse mythology not the revision or edit of the stories now made to be even my family believed that we are descendants of a legendary Viking during Ragnar's time era and fought and survived the battle and plus the men in my are know for one thing and that is being very blunt with words and instinctively understand Viking runes language and our sailing skills and appreciation for the Norse gods and goddesses and know how to get drunk the viking way
