In this video I have covered the full story of Ivar the Boneless. Being neglected since birth because of his body defect to becoming one of the most ruthless rulers in the Viking era, his story has been amazingly depicted in the show. His life has been full of struggle and neglect by his loved ones which in turn developed hatred inside him and also turned him into one of the greatest war mastermind.

ubbe is the reflection of ragnar through and through.. nvm the looks he was keen to explore and find new lands (so was bjorn) but more for fame than for his people. ubbe is the most important remaining character if you ask me and he tied the ending together with floki who had been there from the start.. in a way its like ragnar and floki were together again. and also ubbe was the only son the have a 1vs1 badass duel like ragnar did to become earl

Ivar was my favorite. And ever since I was in an accident in july 2019,and cant walk atm. He has sort of become an inspiration to rise again. I knew his destiny, cause I knew his story. So I hoped it would be honored with how it was. And what an ending. Couldnt have done it better. But I cried, damn I cried. Its different seeing it then reading it. And the relationship with Hvitserk. What a team. And the acting by Both in his death scene was absolutely phenomenal. If you dont manage to see the good side in Ivar, only the bad...then you havent had much hardships in life.

In this regard ragnar was a reinvented viking one for a new age the future ivar however was a viking a true viking of old its not that he didnt care about his people its that the way he was raised by floki as well as his true deamener that he didnt think the weak desearved a place in his world in the true viking world what vikings were ment to be thats why he killed his own people and went to war with them as well In the end ivar is who ragnar wished he could be 100% but ragnar simply was not that way and instead embraced his difference which as the show depicts opened up hundreds of avenues

@@katocs he told him to be ruthless and to punish those who underestimated them. Unfortunately, he was stuck like that. Never finding peace which is why his life has always been war and war and more wars because he was honoring Ragnar. Remember when he was talking to Bjorn. What Bjorn said about Ragnar's legacy and Ivar's reply. It is true. It was just unfortunate that Ragnar gave Ivar that piece of his legacy.

Hi! I just wanted to say thank for this amazing edit. I'm 15 and have disabled in my right leg and arm all my life. Ivar has now become a beacon of hope for me in life. Ivar hurts a lot before he became a ruthless ruler, which is as his dad told him to do I loved his character so much for he is clever, he's inspirational, giving a new light that no one should ever be underestimated. Man, ever since I've finished the show I've been watching lots of edits about Ivar because a lot of youtubers started making them in this period and each one of them was incredibly well done. Including yours. The difference between your tribute and the other ones I saw, is that they're more epic-ish, yours is more emotional and, not gonna lie over here, but it made me shed a tear too. Ivar is a ridiculously great character, and you did a wonderful job portraying that, I mean it. Keep up the good work! 🥇

They were the ones that did not accept Ivar as he is, all of them even Ragnar included and they also kept plotting and betraying him but Ivar was always 5 steps ahead of them and they kept underestimated him so this was Bjorn's last resort because he wasn't gonna get near Ivar, ever! and then that crazy bitch betrayed Ivar.

Ivar was clearly crazy. Demented. Illogical. But e was a very smart tactician. It’s unfortunate that he split from the family. I believe that if the brothers stayed together and the fight between Ivar and Bjorn never happened, they would have ruled all of those lands

Bjorn was never interested in being the king or becoming one. He was more interested in sailing the seas and exploring other parts of the world and raiding, until Ivar became king, then he decided he wanted to be king because "Ragnar would have wanted it to be so". For all we know, Ragnar would have wanted Ivar to be the ONE but Bjorn used his father's name to get people on his side.

@@remmy1219 for me it's ivar because of the fact that he is a crupple and still everyone fears him. At the beginning everyone thought he's no threat to them but in the end he was the biggest threat and he is so smart too he pretty much won every battle he was in. Even the Saxons feared him more than anyone else. He just built up so much glory until his death.

I really liked Bjorn.. I wasn't a fan of Ivar for awhile after Ragnar died. But he really grew on me, and may have become my favorite throughout this last season.

Ivar did what he did. But nobody can denie that he was one of the best characters in the show. And Ivar's actor Alex Høgh Andersen did a very great job his acting skills are amazing good.

Damn. One of the best Ivar tributes out there, fantastic job. His death was very divisive but I thought it was incredibly fitting, Ubbe chose the peaceful side of Ragnar’s legacy and will probably have a good life, Ivar chose the violent side of Ragnar’s legacy and he dies like any other ordinary warrior in battle, unexpectedly, defeated, and afraid.

He was great in this role! But I thought Ivar was quite evil for the way he turned against his brothers. His father never turned against his family! He always gave them a choice!!

It was a necessary evil. If it wasn’t for some of the things he did bjorn wouldn’t have been forced to grow and take on certain leadership roles. If it wasn’t for some of the great battle with each other their stories wouldn’t have been so great. Nor would bjorn have died in the epic way he did solidifying him and his greatness

@@JamesRDavenport to think that someone or something needs to be so that we or all other things can exist shows how ignorant you are. nature is not sentient, nature is that what many people missunderstand and therefore flee to religion: nature is unpredictable, nature makes life but also takes it. nature is not alive in the sense of a person. nature is time and events. the whale is a perfect excample, the whale has bones it never uses, they were used thousands of years ago but evolution, therefore nature, decided as they are not used nor usefull that they go away. the whole animal tree can be seen and you can always see different stuff. humans get a new artery to the hand cause of us sitting with ourr hands little bit up on a mouse and keyboard. it has nothing to do with a "god"
