I'm so glad to see how my favorite Floki is working so hard for his people and for the sake of the Gods. He has changed so much since the first season. He became like Ragnar and even a little bit at Athelstan. That's why I decided to make a video in this direction. All attention is focused on Floki's changes, to how jealous and selfish he was and how he eventually became a wonderful and kind person, after all the tragedies that were in his life.

I remember back in when Athelstan and Ragnar were alive, everything was good, when Athelstan died atleast we had Ragnar. Rewatched the show so many times I don't even feel like he's dead. Still miss the old days, with Ecbert and Ragnar etc.

So now I know that athelstan was a big part of flokis life even though he hated him but deep down in his heart he feels guilty and now he honors the memorie of ragnar and athelstan

I never realized how much Flocki has changed over the course of the series until I saw this video. I'm sure the man he has become would have given Athelstan mercy instead of death if given the chance.

everything went downhill when Torstein died. if you remember, Torstein actually liked Athelstan and saved him a couple of times. Id like to think Torstein would have been ashamed of Floki had he known that Floki killed Athelstan

Miss the old days so much. One thing that Vikings does better than any other show in my opinion is giving you the feeling of the passing time. S1/S2 Seem like tousends years ago to me, and every season is so different from the other but each one has his own soul. Love the relationship between these three and you captured Floki's evolution perfectly. Tremendous job once again Zurik! ❤

Wow i didn't even blink once! I was just watching in awe i miss Ragnar and Athelstan so much! We allready lost them and i don't wanna lose Floki too :( Thank for these amazing memories Bro!! Will definitely be rewatching this vid now and then.

I always thought there were some similarities between Athelstan and Floki, but boy did I miss the parallels! They are SO much more alike than I previously thought. This video was EXCELLENT in pointing that out. I love your channel. Excellent stuff.

Gustavsson and travis are in my top 5 actors. Travis with this ragnar role is worthy of an oscar... And Gustavsson is so damn good that even with floki killing Athelstan u cant hate him because of his outsanding performance and love for Ragnar. Great job as usual my friend! I hated how they all fought. The end of their three arcs were beautiful. Their deaths had an effect on the world. Just as much as their lives did. They changed so much. I miss them three the most

Всех этих персонажей я люблю. До сих пор больно за Рагнара и Ательстана, они в моем сердце. А тут такое видео! Я только начала смотреть, а уже мурашки и так до конца видео! Эта связь, которую ты показал между ими, как они изменили друг-друга, как стали тем кем были и есть. Это безумно важная часть Викингов и я счастлива, что ты сделал такое видео! Мне даже смотреть сложно, все как будто впервые смотрю и пробирает до слез. Какую важную часть в их истории заняла религия, доверие, и любовь. И куда их всех это привело. Как же Флоки изменился! Ты показал эти изменения так красиво и правильно, мало кто сумел бы сделать даже похожее. Это правда шедевр!

А видео делать и переживать это все снова и снова еще больнее. Люблю моего ФЛоки за все, кроме вот этого одного момента. Очень жалко Ательстана и до сих пор скучаю по нему и каждый раз жду его появления в сериале(хоть в виде духа, хоть флешбек, не важно). Тоже очень рад, что Флоки изменился и сейчас в нем даже больше от Ательстана, чем от Рагнара) Спасибо большое, Марин!

This is what I was talking about, damn Zurik! You always know to pick the rights scenes in the right moment, one after one. Connecting every single scene after another! Like for real, how you are able to do it? How are you able to make it HAPPEN!? Damn it!! You put my faves characters! I can't deny how mad I get toward Floki when he killed my second fave character, but I understand why he did it. And damnieee, now I can't stop loving him

Я сидела всё видео в слезах и мурашках. Как же обожаю твои видео по викингам (ты что угодно шедеврально преподносишь конечно, но викинги....) А тут Флоки твой любимый и чувствуется вся любовь к этому персонажу. Помню, ты как то говорил про сходства Ательстана и Флоки, и тут....боже, тут всё так чувственно показано! Идеальное начало. Сразу по больному, смех Флоки на фоне. ох! 0:28-0:30 не могу, мне так нравится этот переход 0:47 а вот и понеслась куча мурашек. шикарное развитие музыки и истории, любимый Ательстан и слёзы подступили, ком в горле... 0:57-1:00 шикарная параллель 1:23-1:25 обожаю эту параллель, и снова мурашки, когда вижу её 1:36-1:38 мне так нравится этот переход движения камеры! 1:38....а вот и понесся новый поток слёз, на этот раз боль за Флоки 2:00-2:05 я не знаю, но подобные переплетения фраз....меня просто нет, я умерла 2:06-2:09 сочетание не только шикарных параллелей Флоки на корабле и так мною обожаемая крутяшка камеры, мастерски, Зурик и в такой идеальный момент музыки 2:12-2:17 боль, боль, боль, БОЛЬ и я сидела как Флоки на 2:18 2:20, 2:22- 2:30 что за сумасшедшее сочетание потрясающих параллелей?! аааааааа 2:32 а вот и понеслось...переплетение Флоки и Ательстана, я просто умерла. А нет, подожди, ещё не до конца... 2:58 - первая мини смерть, 3:02 второй удар, 3:06 ииииии, айм дан. Концовка добила мой труп окончательно. Браво, просто браво!

СПАСИБО БОЛЬШОЕ, КСЮ!!! Ты прям завалила меня теплыми и красивыми словами, что я аж покраснел немного :) Да, тут все вокруг Флоки, все таки он единственный среди них, кто еще жив(хоть и ненадолго). Давно хотел сделать это видео, так как его история сейчас, это история Рагнара с 1 сезона(новая земля, новый мир, он тоже привез с собой людей хорошо ко всем относился и еще множества параллелей). Уверен, если бы Ательстан был бы жив, они с Флоки сейчас дружили бы и вместе вспоминали Рагнара. Спасибо еще раз за твой зоркий глаз, который все видит и подчеркивает :) Мне так приятно это! Ты просто чудо!

Ragnar and Athelstan equal a powerfully profound dynamic, and with Floki, that dynamic is only heightened with even more three-dimensionality. I was so glad to discover that Floki grew wiser over time and redeemed his arc. Beautiful stuff!!!

Это было так великолепно, что у меня аж мурашки побежали! Я так сильно любила Ательстана, но и Флоки я люблю также сильно. И своим поступком он не только Рагнару сердце разбил, но и мне. Да, это важный и даже переломный момент в сюжете, но это все равно слишком больно.

Floki :(( i hope he will not die. Really powerful video about these two complicated characters. I was lovely surprised when i saw a new nottification of your new video, because i already made video about Floki yesterday ff his best moments by my opinion. I just love him. But in yours video is every moment the best. It's sad to see how he lost everything. Really hope we will see him in the end in Valhalla with his friends. That would be the best ending for the show. And i can imagine your next videos as an ending for this show. Thank you for this Floki and Athelstan video

If floki and Lagertha dies, almost all of the original cast members are dead and that saddens me.. Ofc we still have rollo but he is not with the vikings anymore but björn is ofc still here. It's just sad to see such good characters portrayed by such great actors die in the show. Travis Fimmel is a top notch actor and the same goes for Gustaf Skarsgård, they both are amazing. I don't wan't Floki and Legertha to die ;,(

i like how floki grew as a person. when he killed athelstan i felt like so sad because floki and athelstan are a lot alike both devoted to their gods.

Stunning video man! So beautiful and emotional. It bruoght me such a great memories and feelings about Vikings. I love these parallels, I love your parallels in every single video man, you always make such a creative,meaningful and beautiful ones! And I love that you put quotes close to each other so it is a fast going it makes it more emotional, dramatic. Love it! Floki fxcked up royally when he killed Athlestan - everything went downhill after that : daughter dead, wife became mad & his best friend hated him. He never learned that his people will always fight coz of their violent norse ways encouraged them to fight & could work together in peace only if they adopted a different, newer faith - coz that was the exact reason Ragnar started leaning towards Christianity.

Sorry I know this reply is also a late one, (I only got on to Vikings through these videos) but what’s really funny/interesting, is that its his BROTHER who plays Pennywise in the IT films! Also, it’s his DAD who plays Erik Selvig, who’s aides Thor in the marvel films. Mad connections (I thought), clearly a bloody talented family! Also, ZURIK23M, I also wanted to add that your videos are simply breathtaking, seriously! I had played with the idea of watching the show when it was on, but absolutely committed to do it simply from watching your videos! Also watching The Last Kingdom, again thanks to your work, amazing! 😊
