Simply exquisite ! Don't know how I missed this. Such a beautiful enjoyable raag. The strings of the sitar come alive in the hands of the master . To someone of my generation born and raised and nurtured for a good many years in Kolkata it is bliss to hear maestro Vilayet Khan saab . Sincere thanks to you Sir for sharing. Regards

I remember hearing this in the 1960s. Wonderful. I was taught this Gat by my guru, Pt. S.N. Saha, himself a student of Vilayat Khan back in the 1950s.

Beautiful, no doubt, but sound quality is rather distorted after tabla started.

The speed is not right …. Khan sahab in 1960’s played on C pitched sitar it’s in D.
