Ye sab area pahle greater Nepal ke andar aata tha, baad me Britishers ko dena pada. Dono side gorkha log rahte hai. Aur yaha ke log 'Gorkhaland' naam ka alag state banana chahte hai West Bengal se alag hokar. Pahle bohut violence hota tha isko lekar, in sab areas ke politics ka main mudda hai Gorkhaland.

Sorry but it was never part of india it was Nepal part you can still see Nepali culture flourishing in Darjeeling sikkim uthrakhand assam which used to be parts of Nepal during anglo gorkha war with british Nepal had to give those part to British india so that's why those villages are on india side now

Mam...ek baat batau...communist government dekhke hume judge na karo yaar... Border open abhi nahi hua...ved likhe jane wale samaye se hi open hai... Mei banaras hoke aya hun...ayodhya hoke aya hu...bina koi documents liye.... Agar apko nepal k bareme janna hai toh...50 percent indo- aryan hai( hamari aur uttarakhand ki history same hai..ek hi blood hai....aur 50 percent mogoloids( tibeto,burmese ,etc mix hai) Nepal ayengi ko pata lagega apko..chowk chowk mei mandir dikhega apko....bhajan sunai denge subeh subeh....alag nai lagega...hum apko alag nahi mante...hume alag mat mano please...hum alag thodi na hai apse...humari religion ko represent karte ho ap bharatiye...humari common culture ko world mei itni achi goodwill banane mei india ka haat hai... Nafrat na karo humse... Ap hamare ho aur hum apke....
