One Piece music is severely underrated, it's often excluded of anime music medleys and compilations I don't know why. Thanks for this beautiful performance!

Totally agree! Maybe the OST's vivid complexity and orchestration intimidates folks since it's more like a classical film score than contemporary anime music. But that's why we LOVE it!

Has anyone else heard Tom Brier play village harbor? ....shit is crazy, if you ever felt the official version is too short, definitely worth giving it a listen Village harbor always makes me want to go drinking with my buddies in an old time bar and there's something magical about Gold and Oden, to me that feels like the main One Piece theme. Amazing job here.

What chords do they use in Oden? They’re very Japanese chords. Is it built on 4ths like the smash intro?

Great ear! There are a lot of stacked 4ths, suspensions, and 6/9 chords in Japanese music. It's a marriage between traditional Asian tonalities and western melodies/jazz (which is immensely popular in Japan.)
