The mid 60s are most commonly associated with the bands of the British Invasion such as The Beatles & The Rolling Stones. Unfortunately we are not able to play many of these songs due to copyright restrictions. However, there were so many other incredible songs stateside and by lesser known UK artists. The flood of new genres and artists in the mid 60s is what really led to the diverse sounds and styles that made this such a history making decade for popular music.

Takes me back to my youth, and especially the day I caught my little sister dancing around the house singing about a "Secret Asian Man." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You play the music I had on my transistor radio constantly....except on summer nights, when I'd lay in bed with the radio tuned to out-of-town baseball games. RIP Bob Prince....Beat 'em Bucs. Thanks for the great tunes. Btw....the kid's got some great moves. 👍

It's neat themselves playing the stereo equipment. I love playing my technics stereo equipment with six feet tall speakers and I have thousands of vinyl albums. I never played a 45 our bought one. This sounds OK to me. I love all kinds of music I listened to this with a transistor radio stuck to my ears. I know some people don't like loud music but I do and I will never change . I love Rock N Roll, Rhythm N Blues, Boogie Woogie and the Rockin Blues to. Music shakes me till I'm feeling alright all day n night long till the lights go out.

Amazing play list, Your Son can cue up those 45's like he's been doing it for the past 20 years, LOL I think it is fantastic that he has interest in keeping . records spinning . Lost art Turntables. Was DJ in Boston for a few years at a club 70's what a awesome time I had. Still have my two Russco studio pro model B. They still working perfectly. You have a Phenomenal channel, love the music, love the set up, Ten Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Channel! Got to say if your body's not moving to this you must not be breathing 😊👍

Again well spotted! The 45 we used was an Atlantic re-issue from the early 90s intended for use in jukeboxes. They chose the stereo mix instead of the original mono. By this time vinyl was almost being completely replaced by CDs in jukeboxes so it was probably a last ditch effort to improve sound quality. In this case we actually have the original mono 45. It's just not as good of a copy in terms of condition.

@@VillaVybes Yes, the sad thing is that when oldies became a thing in the late 60s/early 70s, the push was on to put everything out in stereo without regard to the authenticity of the hit mix. Many record labels destroyed their mono masters, too. The trend of the default stereo went into the CD era until Rhino Records, Stax, and Motown, started re-issuing their mono masters. That corrections continues today. But, you are into playing vinyl, just as we did back in my day. Question: have you tried some more aggressive means of cleaning the original 45s? I collect all this music, but in digital form. I've done digital transfers of all my vinyl that I can't locate digitally. I smile when I see those original 45s being spun on your videos. They take me back. And, i'm impressed by the vast musical knowledge of your whole family. That's a rarity today! Keep on rockin'!
