Ville's Finnish version of "Annie's Song" is a heart-moving one. If we're getting all sentimental here, how about a melancholic Rock trip to the 80s? Here's couple of acts from that era you probably haven't heard of. Zero Nine is one of the first Finnish Heavy bands and has opened for E.g. Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Scorpions and Alice Cooper. Late Kirka was an all around music professional and he's a legend in Finland. Royal Tramps has opened for such bands like Deep Purple, Neil Young and Pearl Jam. Royal Tramps' video is ok and Kirka has a good live performance of the song from 1989 in which he gets to flex his vocal cords , but with Zero Nine I'd go with the album version. Zero Nine's and Kirka's songs are ballads, so watch out and have lighters near by you. Zero Nine - Angel (1982) Kirka - In My Dreams (1986) (Live 1989) Royal Tramps - Colder (1990)
