Nigerians used Blacko as a "factory default" against Shatta Wale. Based on Shatta Wale's revelations about them (Nigerians), they needed somebody to whom they could give their support to counter Shatta Wale, and Blacko was at the right place at the right time. On the other hand, Ghanaians have a history of always making the wrong moves. Ghanaians' timing is always bad. The reason why Nigerians felt hurt about Blacko's action is that they felt betrayed because there was a case where they wanted to blacklist Shatta Wale, which they couldn't, and they decided to support black to counter Shatta and Blacko turned his back on them. The fact is that the love they showed for Blacko was a "factory default" setting against Shatta Wale.

We don't have an 80/20 local content law in Nigeria. This was discussed in Nigeria in the early 90s but NOTHING was done about it. I am very scandalized by Blackos attitude. To get attention, you guys, first, created the FICTION of Nigeria VS Ghana, even though Nigeria has no idea they were in a competing with anyone. And because of it, Ghana artistes were totally excluded from global musical Jamboree. Still, you guys would not stop the destructive behavior. Canadian artistes are doing very in the US, because they understand that America is the music capital, so they CONNECT with America. And remember, have been in Nigeria since childhood when they used to play Ghanaian music there, and it's came to sometime where they stop playing Ghanaian music permanently and start with this percentage thing about playing 90 percent Nigerian Locals and Ghanaians are trying to do the same to protect our culture and local music with just 70 percent they said. Our own Ghanaians are complaining.
