You're right that this be a radio song. It got into the german charts at a point of time when basically no metal song would achieve that feature, so this was a huge success and shows how popular Helloween was in Germany. Interestingly enough it's written by former band member Kai Hansen, who left the band shortly after that and hinted in an interview that this song kinda announced his plans to leave the band. Interesting point about the relationship between your upbringing and your musical preferences, though. Not sure if I completely agree, but then I'm from Europe where religion mostly doesn't play the big role it seems to play in the U.S. And while my parents were/are very religious themselves, I' don't think that I ever felt the need to totally rebel against religion, because they didn't really force me into it (as a child, it was just the natural way to believe the things my parents did, but when I started to make up my own mind about it, no one tried to restrict me with dogmas and shit like that).

kiske is probably in top 3 best vocalists in metal, ever. its amazing he still got that voice, they just reunited recently with him and original guitarist hansen. so its almost original line-up. they are amazing band.

Love the discussions that emerge afterwards between you guys, it's pretty rare that I want to listen to the whole thing in reaction videos, most of the time you just see if they (meaning YOU) llike the song while listening and then you listen to a few thoughts when the song has ended. Ok, so over to tips when it comes to Helloween. I'd say MARCH OF TIME, not many reaction videos with that one and it's my favorite of all time with Helloween. Michael Kiske (the singer) is a Christian now. Halloween was their first single and only video from Keeper of the Seven Keys. I Want Out comes from the sequel to that album (Keeper of the Seven Keys 2)

We can say this song started with power metal as we know ig today, plus, is a inspirational lyrics for all the free tvinkers around the world.
