I was fortunate enough to have met and conversed with Mr. Price and his third wife Coral. I wrote him a letter about his art collection late in his life and he responded warmly. He was an absolutely wonderful man, so witty, charming and brilliant. It was one of the highlights of my life to have spoken to him for those 20 minutes.

Vincent Price was and is a rare jewel amongst actors. He was talented, nice and friendly and as good as a comedian as a horror actor. I miss him dearly, but he lived his life to the fullest and his fans will always remember and love him. RIP Vincent.

I had the chance to interview Vincent Price not once, not twice but three times and he was the most delightful interview! I miss the days of daytime TV talk shows like Merv Griffn, Mike Douglas and Dinah Shore!

Vincent is a rare bird for sure. Erudite, educated, always funny, and a bit more than menacing too. I named my pet rat after Vincent Price. She was a fine rat. Goodnight Dr. Phibes.

So erudite and all around charming that I just assumed he was British. Turns out he was as American as apple pie, but knew how to act like he was English.

Vincent Price was the dearest soul in the world...unless he was onscreen, then he'd rip your throat out laughing while he did it! And, most young people these days barely remember Merv Griffin as the creator of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Irritating how Merv constatnly interupts his guests. I miss a lot of what the guest is saying because Mervs voice drowns him out. Too late now!

OMG! Merv can be so insufferably inane and his comments and interview prompts so utterly awkward, buzz killing and irrelevant. Astonishing that had the success he enjoyed with such weak interviewing skills.

He seemed more to be aggressive, sarcastic and borderline cynical in this interview. Probably why Vincent mentionned its hair and vanity.

Merv Griffin was always so disinterested and fake with his guests , it was difficult to watch. His only talent was as a singer, he was underated in that area.

He has that Transatlantic Accent the distinguished people of that time had. It's funny. Because it's a societal thing. Not a real accent. Well. I mean. It's real enough, but it's weird. And funny. And weird. And made up.

It's marvelous, and was a combination of posh American and British speech styles. Orson Welles also spoke like that, even though he was from the Midwest. Katherine Hepburn and Bette Davis also had that accent. Back when people didn't mind being known as educated. Good to see Merv, who created Jeopardy, and McLean Stevenson from TV's MASH! When talk shows were entertaining...
