Max Payne I am yet another victim of "Dog Alien." Shortly after Max Payne's Death, I recieved the same game as an email...from Joel himself. I had the same experience, but something else happened besides joel pouncing on me. Instead, it cut back from static, revealing running, bloodied mice, and a chihuahua yelling gibberish at them. I was left speechless from that day. Then, the next morning, I heard the yelling again. I opened my eyes and saw them, dancing. But the yelling and screeching were merged. I died unable to speak my last words, or hear my last words, and now I can only see. Watching the world Burn...

You know how sometimes when a movie attempts to make the audience unsettled by using audio from old speeches like Jim Jones or Hitler`s rallies, and it distorts the hell out of it and it gets really uncomfortable? I think next I hear one of those it`ll be "YOU CAN`T KEEP A GOOD DOG DOWN"

i have played Alien Dog in full. honestly, joel only scraped through the first little layer of shit off the top of it. it gets worse. the controls are broken, the minigames make absolutely no sense and are barely relevant to the film its based on, the spritework is terrible, and yes, every single version ive obtained of it has the corrupted music and fucked up graphics 10/10 game of the year

I'm still waiting for someone to take the original scene of the "You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down" musical number from All Dogs Go To Heaven, and throw it in Vegas so that it looks and sounds like the DOS game. For the audio, I'd cheat the normalize system by normalizing an empty space so that it increases it's volume to 90.1db, then stretch the length of the clip (not by speed) so that it reaches the aforementioned musical number, speed it up as fast as it can go (4x the normal speed), render it, take the rendered audio and slow it download back to normal speed, so that it emulates the compressed audio in the DOS game. For the visuals, I'd do whatever color mixing Stuart K. Reilly did in "L's Gon Give It To Ya". But that's just what I'd do; If someone wants to try other methods, I won't stop him/her.

You would have to avoid the sentient Nightmare Fuel entries and get to the Awesome page. Occasionally, Fast Eddie would appear and shoot some Nightmare Fuel entries. Awesome Music plays in the background, and the game itself is pretty Awesome. There are some glitches, but Your Mileage May Vary on which ones are Funny and which ones are Nightmare Fuel.

The colours aren't inverted, at least by my knowledge. It's just using the "CGA" setting, which is made for very early video cards.

One secret tip from me, I think from playing All Dogs Go To Heaven for Joel, I think Joel had the sound up, or the game did it by fault/purpose. If you had the volume loud and pretended to be overloaded with mass amounts of treble and bass, it's your fault. If the game did it itself, You are okay. Just forget about dogs and heaven.
