I love this woman so much. Regardless if this was a good conference or not, you can call it funny or cringy or whatever you want, but she was owning this role. That's why I personally watch Devolver Digital's conferences, even if a small fraction of my brain knows this will completely stop being funny after a few years because it will be overdone by then. But I love the pisstake on the other conferences, even though their own games don't strike me as particularly interesting. I DO want to play "My Friend Pedro" though, that's the real stuff :D

I always thought that Metal Wolf Chaos was the closest thing i was going to get from a M.A.D Shogo 2 but more like a Metal Gear Rising copy cat, its cute and i think i will be picking up MWC XD since i always wanted to play it and now will be released for PC and usually Devolver does a pretty good job with PC ports.

I’m replying to an old video and probably many won’t see this but I’ve seen someone in my class who is super anti-social, told everyone he just goes home and does nothing productive and actually admitted that. He also post comments on videos/streams like these and finds actually work/funny stuff like these “cringe” the ironic part is that the comments he left is trying to get attention is unoriginal and unfunny. I get the distaste for the idea of cringe, but Devolver is being kind of scummy here. Essentially they're making fun of e3 gaming culture for being overly commercialized and full of shitty trends like lootboxes and cryptocurrencies, while simultaneously selling their own games and products. You can literally buy one of those coins off Devolver's website for upwards of $100. In fact, they sold out of them. They're 2 inches and made of rubber and do nothing but make you feel proud for standing up to those big bad corporations and give Devolver money. But somehow it's all OK because it's an ironic statement. Devolver is no different than any other gaming company, but at least EA and Bethesda don't try and pretend they're on your side when they're vying for your wallet. At least the special effects were good. And the presenter lady is a good actress.

I kinda feel sorry for anyone who paid to see Devolver Digital's Conference live. I wouldn't even call it cringy. It just felt like the writing team was in "How do you do fellow gamers" mode. It just felt boring.

Devolvers message "hey look at me kids I speak internet things and profanity. Am I cool yet?" Like their game is being pissed about nothing, pretending that they are aware of something we aren't but in truth its all nothing but a distraction from the fact that they dont really have anything ground breaking in and of itself. The show they put on was entertaining but the games were not.
