You really can’t though, I remember saying out loud “you can end this here, this is something you end on” because it was so hype, but then I saw the zelda thing and I was a little disappointed that they tried to shove that in there as a final thing it just seemed completely bad judgement to put it at the end and not just next to one of the other zelda announcements instead.

Luigi's actually DmC reboot Dante and he's flipping everyone one off and telling them to go heck themselves and then suddenly he gets kicked off screen and we see another silhouette and it turns out to be the real pizza eating, crazy wahoo man himself, the real Dante. Honestly if they ever localize mother 3 it'll probably be after a remake of the first two (or at least the second one), considering its been multiple decades since earthbound. Not saying it wouldn't be the best thing ever, but it would be weird considering not a lot of people know who pokey is. Itoi prolly wouldn't be behind it but maybe another developer?

I was expecting pissiness for the Dragon Quest reveal, and he gave it, but he came around eventually at least. The reaction to Mana and Banjo really were childlike almost. Getting that much passion out of Vinny is rare, you could FEEL that excitement. I was in disbelief myself.

@@dr.velious5411 Same, I was caught off guard at how many people decided to get pissy about it and didn't realise just how little DQ fans there must be in the west. Dragon Quest VIII is my all time favorite JRPG by a long shot, so when Eight suddenly decided to swoop in I reacted just like Vinny did with Banjo (whom I've never played either of their games so have no attachment to them).

@@radioactivemorshu9493 As this point has already been discussed to death, the job listings only lead to evidence of another LoZ title - which is blatant, Breath of the Wild isn't going to be the end of Zelda. The main surprise is that the new game is a direct sequel to BotW.

@@Magnet_Chaos Hey, I'm not disrespecting it! Erdrick's got some nice shit himself, and if we get more Square Enix tracks than what they did for Final Fantasy VII, it's already a positive. It's just for us out west, Banjo-Kazooie holds more of a place in people's hearts than Dragon Quest truly did, even back when we were in the NES era.

Believe me I know. Banjo-Tooie was my favorite 64 game back in the day. But most of the reactions seem to dismiss Dragon Quest as something unimportant. And it is getting tiresome.

@@fredmeyer1044 No charm? No personality? It has a spell naming system based on onomatopoeia. That's adorable as all hell. And one of its location is the Swinedimples Academy. I let you guess the joke there. The charm and main draw of Dragon Quest is the simplicity, traditionalism, and childish vibe. Yeah it is a tad generic but that's the damn point. Dragon Quest is not just cookie cutter JRPG. It is the cookie cutter that every other JRPG uses to make cookies.

Yeah I understand the whole "this game is a huge timesink so I don't want to just stream 100 hours of this" mentality but I honestly think at the very least he should try Dragon Quest 8. Something tells me he'd enjoy that one out of the other entries in the series if he wanted to at least play one DQ game in his "annoying game requests I'm going to have to eventually do one day" quota.
