Some parts of Spelunky just aren't for everyone That's why they added more endings, so people who aren't into hardcore games can still complete the game

and also you need a lot to know where alien spawns, it's not as straightforward to newcomers as it was in the first game, you either have to know it can be found with Alien Compass or know the generation for it.

@@trashman3319 I imagine that he's done with it, yeah he ain't streaming again for the forseeable future and he already said that he felt comfortable with what he acomplished, which is getting the easy ending And honestly that's fine, they added the 3 endings for that same reason, so people with different skill levels could enjoy it and finish it regardless

@@WhoTookSaltyCabbage He got telefragged. Basically, he and the axolotl teleported into the exact same place, meaning when he warped, it spawned into him, causing him to take damage. Or at least I think that's what happened.

@@kevsonkeyboard Each area in Spelunky (except for the Jungle) has mounts with unique abilities. Mounts allow you to double jump, and by pressing the jump button again after the double jump will activate their unique ability (except for the Rock Dogs at Volcana). Axolotls in Spelunky have the ability to teleport after trying to jump with it a third time, a sparkling effect playing out to where the Axolotl teleported (you can see it happen on the level's upper boundary.

This series was one of my all time favorites. I haven’t enjoyed watching Vinny play something as much as I did Spelunky 2 for a LONG time. And my what a strange, hilarious and awesome series it was.

@@RevorDragon Yes indeedo! They're a super talented and dope cousin to have and we're pretty tight. Was on an art stream with them recently featured as "Cheese Cousin" when I visited them last lol. Watching them do the sprite sheets for this mod and the amount of intricate work that went into it was really cool.

The editing in this video is pretty interesting The first half of solo Vinny feels like it's edited like many Vinny videos, but when Joel comes in, it feels more like it's edited to suit a Joel highlight video That's just the vibe I got
