I ordered his documentary DVD and it was taking a while to get to my house so I contacted his team and they told him personally about my situation and he personally sent the film along with multiple autographed pictures of different sizes signed specifically to me. He's a class act.

people commenting saying arr 'he was limited and not very good' like how many world titles u won? people just talk so much shit guy was a decent fighter at world level yeah he wasn't Leonard Roy jones elite but still won word titles and mixed at a high level and the fact hr came back and boxed for like another 10 years after his spine being totally wrote off like it is inspirational to people who feel limited in life cuz of health problems

It's about F'n time they make a movie about this guy. I remember seeing Vinny on Geraldo in the 1980's, around the time Butafuco was on. Alota stuff was goin on back then, Teflon Don, Iron Mike, Contra affairs, Cocaine Cowboys, and so forth. There was Rocky and then there's Pazienza, there's only 2 other boxers that's got my respect - Chuvalo & Calzaghe. One day, I'd like to see Chuvalo, Pazienza & Calzaghe get together for a good 'ole conversation. Forget about a fight, this would be a heart felt triple royale !

I'm an ex-boxer and competition shooter. Lost the ability to use my right eye effectively. No more rifles, no more boxing. But I can be a competition shooter with handguns still (a lot of naysayers but many of those naysayers are now eating-my-groupings :P). Guys like Vinny are an inspiration. My back and neck were absolutely fucked up like his, without the same kind of training and medical backing .... even if I had what he had I don't think I could do what he could've done. But I would try, as hard as I fucking can. That's all that matters, right folks?

Joe, I have broke a lot of bones and hurt my knees and back to the point of surgery. I found ways around a lot of my issues in how I train. I am a 51 year old Scuba Instructor and Vinny Paz alaways motivated me with his story. and yes , try as fucking hard as you can!

agree as brave and inspiring as his story is its not as uncommon as people are making out people coming back from terrible injuries to do great things bert trautmann broke his neck during the fa cup final and carried on playing plenty of boxers more deserving of getting a movie made about their life than vinny paz plus he was a known roid head
