I went with my dad and I chose this as a birthday present from Coopers' toy shop in Rotherham. I was so excited. After, he parked up round the corner and left me in his land rover, for what seemed like hours. I couldn't resist opening the box. From memory I definitely damaged the Sea Wolf and he was very cross with me. The damage can't have been that bad as I had going up and down in the bath! Great job Dave!

Brasso & creamy furniture polish combined is brilliant for polishing clear perspex and other plastic parts like helmets, e.g. Red Devil. Gives a high sheen and polishes out light marks/scratches. Be careful not to polish out any painted decal/wordings. Works like a treat on Space Explorer bubble helmets and Astronaut visors. Love the videos and you ingenuity!

Did you ever think of a solution for the hinge repair? That‘s the problem I have to tackle with mine. I‘m so thankful for this channel otherwise my toys would just be sitting in a box. It inspires me to get them out to make them display worthy.

I print my own water decals with a ink jet, if you get a can of spray varnish it should be enough to make them waterproof :) id rather you didn't dunk that in water though after all the work you put into it, great job as always

I have a UV/blacklight which I have used with retrobrite to de-yellow plastics. I live in NI which gets less sunlight! It’s a desk lamp from B&Q with the bulb removed and a UV bulb fitted. Line a suitably sized tank with shiny foil to help reflect the light in the tank.

to stop the stickers from running just pray them with acrilic varnish

Can/could you de yellow the plastic with an UV/solar light ?

Can't using a tooth brush scratch the surface of plastics?

How about a UV(A) light bulb for whitening plastics indoors in the winter? Or a second hand face tanning lamp? I'd imagine you'd get a fairly consistent source of UV.

i don't think that the pump is for the Action Man series for the AT on the pump denotes the mid 60s series in the US of adventure team but i may be wrong for the action team had a submarine and the molds were sent to the UK for the action man series.
