Another SAAAHH--WEEET project!!! I am always the beneficiary when you "just want to craft"! I always watch the complete process, gather my supplies, then re-watch and pause and make. I have to agree. The process is so much easier because Andrea gives us confidence to try it. Once I do I’m hooked into trying something new. With no worries. Trial and errors are part of the process. THANK YOU for sharing and teaching me no guts no glory.

This is such an awesome journal. I based a Christmas journal off of one you made last year or so. Started it last Nov/Dec and finishing it now on my channel. Mine is not nearly as intricate with flips and folds, but it does craft up lovely. I have a few more to make and will definitely use the envelopes in them. That is such a great idea!

I have then cut my own file folder and use the envelope pouch to make all the right corners and make a crisp tap. You really can’t see I have made them by my self. I make with a bone folder all the folds etc.. maybe someone can use the idea to make it. Big hugs from Denmark 🇩🇰 Tina 💙🦋

This is beautiful hun, when I struggle getting file folders I just make my own using an A3 sheet of cream card, u can get it from the range,the works and Wilkinson’s and it turns out the same so just a thought for anyone struggling with getting them, thanks for sharing this project xxx

Andrea it's looking great, it's amazing what you can do with a simple envelope! This new kits is gorgeous, and the music sheets, I've got some really old music books I've managed to pick up dating around 1875. I haven't got the heart to cut them up, I'm thinking about donating it to the Melbourne museum, there book is missing pages and have the complete book. Here in The Netherlands these filefolders also aren't in the shops. We have some sort but without the tab. Just a straight line.

I have never coffee die file folder I get my folders at our dollar store,but I think they are not as heavy,but they still work

Another beautiful creation...wow! :-) I usually make colourful and bright mini-albums and scrapbook pages but you have inspired me to make my first vintage style journal! Since we don't get distress ink pads and inks here, I'll have to order them from US or UK and the shipping costs as much as the ink pads themselves! So, I was wondering which colour(s) you would recommend for a newbie journal maker? I have seen various crafters use either Antique Linen or Tea dye or Vintage Photo or Walnut stain or Black soot etc. ........Or is there a Distress ink mini-kit you recommend I try as a beginner in the vintage style of crafting. Am not sure what to order! ...lol...Appreciate any help I can get! Thanks... xoxo Ava

I got a whole pile of used file folders from a thrift store. I just collage or gesso over and writing or labels I don’t want.

So dig your style! If these file folders are so difficult to get in the UK, what do offices etc typically use instead for filing? 🤔🤨

not sure what x of stores u have in UK but in the states we have Dollar Stores of various names in some of which everything is $1.00. Anyway, in such stores they sell paper tape which you could use to reinforce the inside of the flimsy envelope flap way more inexpensively than using Washi tape. That being said, I’ve got some ugly Washi and would get rid of/use it up there. Just a suggestion.
