It's A Charming Life It's a beautiful little town, many of my ancestors are buried in St. Luke's cemetery, my grandmother's old Victorian house is one block over. The movie Nobody's Fool with Paul Newman was filmed there, throughout the town, and in the graveyard and you can see grandma's house in the scene. I was last there in 2000, sadly Mama passed 3 1/2 yrs ago but she really enjoyed that trip.

It's A Charming Life oh definitely the day before we were to leave we had been going crazy trying to find very old family graves. Mama remembered her grandmother leaving flowers on Graves on that side of the cemetery, my grandparents, great grandparents, great Uncle ( who was KKK, totally other long story) and my Aunt and Uncle are buried on the other side. Anyway we were determined to find those Graves before we left, we are deep into family genealogy. Mama had a hard time walking and we were walking towards where these Graves should be, I had a chill walk, yup walk right thru me. I told Mama stay by this tree don't move I'm going for my sweater at the car. I turn take 2 steps and Mama yells "Michelle!" Crap did she fall!??? I turn and she's pointing down at a grave IT'S MY 4× GREAT GRANDFATHER'S CIVIL WAR GRAVE MARKER!!! He was the first name we had to start working with on our genealogy quest. I still believe to this day he was the chill that walked thru me that made me put Mama by the tree, he wanted us to find him and all the rest of the family buried around him before we left New York. A year and a half later I married my husband, and his Uncle helped me do that side of the family's genealogy back to the 1400s. Your neighbors to the right have history and stories, it would be amazing to do research. Have you seen or heard any spirits in or around your cottage? Sorry so long, it's really interesting stuff!
