Grab a cup of tea and get ready to explore!! We are going inside a hoarder's attic for the first time to hunt for vintage treasures. This is a long one, but the treasures found were worth it! The green gingham dress that has the detail undershirt looks like a clogging outfit. Clogging is a southern style of dance where they wear something like that. They put a big fluffy petticoat under their dresses.

I think your green dress is possibly for square dancing. In the 1970’s they were quite short! Lovely stuff, great video and what a fun adventure!

Such a fabulous video Laci. The most interesting and exciting time. I loved the green floral dress with pom poms on the colar and OMG the space lamp is so cool. I am a bit older than you and spent my teens in the 70s so many of the items you pulled out were very nostalgic for me. I was so delighted to see your husband's reaction to the peek a boo tie. You bought back a lot of memories when you showed the Jamaica shirt. My dad had that shirt, mom had the skirt and a ladies shirt and I believe I had kids jumper. My parents and I went there in the early 60s and I believe they bought then or our friends from there brought them over. I can't remember if I saved them and their in the cedar chest. Thanks again for the memories.

I couldn't love this more! I was a teenager in the '70's and Guinne Sac (?spelling) was a very popular clothing line. I imagine that dress was a prom dress. I can't chose a favorite, so many great things. But, your husband joy in seeing that tie was my favorite part of this video. I always wonder about why hoarders are like that- I am guessing it is a mental illness. It is always unfair for a family to be left with that to deal with. But, I see now that their struggle can end up being a joy in many ways for those who find the treasures. I definitely want to watch Kelly's channel. That will be interesting.

I really liked the white shirtwaist w/the green buttons and side zipper.It's such a classic "everyday house dress". The rouge brought back the memory of my mom's rouge container that she kept in the mirrored medicine cabinet above the bathroom sink. You really got some great items!! Lacey, these are amazing finds. I think it would be fun for you to do a video on how to restore one of these dresses from start to finish. I have no idea what the process is and it would be fun to learn.
