I am nowhere near your demographic for age, but your style has always reminded me of the "golden age" of Hollywood. Most of these old school styles still translate wonderfully to today. While I am not that old, I still watched many of these old movies as a kid and always loved the simple, classy style of the day. As someone who has seen many, many years of runway styles, I will tell you that many of the big designers must have been watching the same movies as I did.

I love that the clothes are feminine, flattering, classy and timeless, while at the same time being of high quality. It's been hard to find a brand that leans into ethical sustainable values and practices, while still creating something beautiful and stylish.

I love all the pieces! Especially the matching set you're wearing and the white shorts. I have a pair of white linen shorts and I feel like they're not as versatile as I thought they'd be. Definitely need a pair like the ones you showed. As a suggestion, in videos like this, I think it would be nice at the end to have a recap of all the looks. You could show them one by one for 1 or 2 seconds, or have all of them lined up in the same frame.

Lovely. This is absolutely my style - beautiful classics in natural and breathable fabrics. The only trouble is, none of these are in my size (UK 16) or if they were they have sold out. Would you be able to recommend similar styles in larger sizes with similar quality fabrics? (I am trying to get back to my ideal body frame of a UK size 14 so that I have more choice fashion-wise, but menopause makes it very difficult!) It’s great to have this as a style template though, so thank you!

So everyone who has compassion for sentient beings like caterpillars or butterflies to become, please get informed. There are very good alternatives like tencel, etc. Also consider buying second hand ❤ good for our planet, for ethical production, your fashion creativity and your budget. I love it ❤🎉

I loved today's post. The pieces from Goelia are just wonderful and I especially loved the dial dress you choose. I need a dark all year dress for business and more polished occasions. The dress looked to be the perfect length when you styled it. So I ran to the website and found the dress. in there description photos it looked terribly short! I need it to be knee length, since I will be wearing it making presentations from a stage( it is important that the audience can't see you the dress when I am seated. I do a lot of public speaking and how it looks from the stage is critical. What is your best advice?

Lydia, I have been following you for around 3 months now and really enjoy your videos, how you present, and of course how your lovely figure works beautifully for the clothes. Can I make just a couple of observations? The first wide leg white trousers you wore looked a little too long in the crotch for you. Also you mentioned sizing and from my years of sewing I think the sizing of a jacket/top in a classic style should sit nicely on the shoulders rather than a wider look. Thank you once again. When a new video comes up it is like receiving a new magazine in my letterbox. 😊
