Part 2 of this project of hand sewing using doilies lace and Suffolk Puffs, also called Yo-yos. Here we finish off our design, I have put in some nice easy stitching to bring in a little more colour, not too much colour as I have been trying to make something resembling an old hand tinted photograph, so very subtle. I have also embellished with some little silk flowers on some of the flowers and some French knots on some others. This has been a lovely trip into the world of vintage nostalgia, embroidery and fabric art.
