Eat your heart out Dyson! These old direct air beauties will out clean anything new made today. It's not just suction that makes a good performing vacuum, agitation and airflow comes into play as well, and oldies like this Kirby DS80 do not disappoint in that regard.

Wow! Great result. Also, Christmas Eve and I'm watching someone vacuum their house with a vintage Kirby. Sure I might be messed up but man is it fun. Ha!

any kirby is fun to watch ! i still have around ten or eleven of them.THEY ARE ONE SEXY BEAST ! besides that D-80'S are sorta christmas color.

I did the same thing with my Kirby Sentria 2 and then I actually sucked up all the dirt with my Rainbow vacuum, that , of course, uses water and the heavy debris, like the sand, and what not floated to the bottom of the water basin so you could really tell how much fine dirt and sand it picks up. I'd be curious to see that with the Dual Sanitronic 80 :-) Great video!

I would like to know how you vacuum area rugs without sucking them up? My Kirby lifts everything that is not secured.

Are you mobile? And what is your hourly rate? I’m pregnant and I can’t move around as easily. Also where did you get your kicks? They look very comfortable
