Masters of the Universe used ABS plastic, that's why MOTU playsets snap or develop cracks over time. Also it is very common to see 70s/80s Toys with thin shapes snap easily. This tutorial was great.

This is possibly some of your best work. Some of the hardest repairs involve pieces that NEED to flex and need a sense of durability again, and you absolutely NAILED it. Although, since you didn't find the Battle Bones in the forest while you were walking (and filming) the credibility of this video is in question... lol Great vid as always!

What a nostalgic flashback you gave me with this repair. Back in the early 1970s, before modeller's putty came along, mixing Polystyrene Cement with plastic shavings was the only way to fill-in seems and gaps on one's models. Thank goodness for modern equipment. Cheers. Such a fine job.

Spot on fix that, well impressed. Great way to display your Skelly army too. I've got one in similar condition. Maybe I could fix it and load it up with my army of stinkors. I've used plastic weld and plastic shavings to gap fill bits off Motu figures in the past. Usually on custom figures when I need to split the torso and cracks happen.

Another great fix, happy to see this! I actually had another way of doing it in my mind, by building an extra part or support on the backside, underneath the structure however that might not have been the best way of doing it or be without it´s flaws. This is what i love about these fixing videos, the many different ways and solutions to a problem, some better then others, some just as good or even better. Keep on fixing and finding good solutions! Keep up the great work!

Bravo, Dave! Another great repair and not a single 3d printed part in the vicinity either lol. As someone who both collects action figures and works with miniatures I have a fair bit of experience with making materials that don't like each other work together somehow by now, so I thought maybe I'd leave this here for anyone who's interested. I'm fairly sure you've covered this in other videos but pinning or using tiny screws as anchors is always a good option too if possible, or scoring both surfaces that you're going to use superglue on given that unlike plastic weld it's not making the same type of bond, so the rough surface helps with that, and related to superglue also using baking soda as a gap filler can sometimes be useful, even though it can leave a bit of a texture or change colour over time if it isn't sanded and painted over, but it also helps with potentially brittle superglue attach points. Keep up the good work, cheers!
