Vintage Muscle Machines Mini Collection Box Opening 5 years later!

This is so embarrassing! Well not really but here is the deal. My good friend Terry from Georgia was really in to Muscle Machines back in 2017 and had some extras so he sent some to me to get me in to collecting MM too. Well I set the box aside to make a box opening and then a black hole opened up and the next thing I know it was 2022!

I have 3 of them in my car cabinet. A dark red 1940 Ford, orange Mustang and a Metal flake orange Camaro. I like them. I read a lot of CARtoons & Cycletoons magazines when I was a teenager!

Oh CARtoons those were so cool. And Mad Magazine. Throw in the J.C. Whitney Catalog and as an 8 grader that was my reading material.

Muscle Machines rule. I have the newest ones coming already. They remind me of those beefy HOT WHEELS tooned that came out around the same time. The Pontiac GTO Judge with the huge motor is my fav.. Those cars you got are so ultracool. FYI You display them. Hopefully you called your friend.

I also have a very nice and expensive guitar that I broke a string on just before moving to my current house in 2011. Have not opened the case since I have been here. 535 videos ago I got a Johnny Lightning store display and some of the cars fell out in shipping. I took all of them out to clean and reinstall. Still have not done that. Oh yes and in 1995 I got a 1970 store display Hot Wheels the one with the white track with no cars in it. I bought all the necessary cars in blister packs to put into the display and still have not done that yet. I blame it all on the internet especially You Tube and eBay! Oh and my wife really likes me and wants to spend time with me so there goes my personal hobby time!

Well I only open things that wont matter too much. I would recommend that you set a budget amount per month of dollar value that you will never get back and use that budget to determine how many you can open. For instance I will "use up" about $100 a month of future value so that I can have what I want and that is loose cars to touch! Example when I get a redline club car that I think will never go up in value much, and I really want to open it, I know it will go from $30 cost to about $20 resale value minus $2 to $5 ebay fee. So that is a loss of $15 out of my budget for opening packages. Perhaps you will never sell your cars so in that case open away!

I’m sure your friend will forgive you. He probably knows how many cars that you have. I’m also sure that he’s huge fan of yours as well.😄(plus;those are some really cool cars)

Muscle Machines - look very cool!! Love the exaggerated features, the blown motors, chassis shapes, giant slicks. Wonder how many have been released? Looks like 4-5 per series? Will they fit on a Hot Wheel track? ;-)
