Bro you have no idea how nostalgic this is. This fills me with all sorts of emotions at once; sadness, happiness, excitement, dread. The negative feelings come from relationships that never worked out. The positive ones come from the music, the Christmas parties my family had, the gifts received and given, jokes told. You truly can find anything on KZfaq. I never expected to cry when I heard these, but the tears are flowing down my face as I try to make sense of a mix of emotions that range from happiness to sadness and everything in between. My mom always made Christmas so special, and still does for her grandkids, but nothing can ever replace those childhood Christmas memories and the excitement and wonder I felt as I sat in front of our Christmas tree and watched these lights flash, the music playing, my head filled with wonder about what would be waiting for me under the tree as I counted down to that morning. I think ours were color lights, but the music was the same. How beautiful. The first song was always my favorite. You can't ever go back, I wish I could remember every moment forever. I found myself today walking around my kitchen humming all these songs, reminiscing on the joy of the holidays I felt as a kid. So I decided to look up "Christmas Lights From the 90s with music". This was the first video that popped up. This was my Christmas music box and lights. I can't explain it, but while listening to this I could actually smell the pine needles from the Christmas trees of my childhood. This truly blessed me.

The memories.. 20 years later. Unbelievable Many a night I laid in bed to this anxiously awaiting Christmas.

This means the world to me. I miss these. Id love to own a string. So many memories.

If my wife and kids weren't around me right now I'd let myself go and start sobbing like a baby. Haven't heard this in over 20 years and the memories of my mom are just overwhelming. wow i remember these hanging up in my moms out and i used to love them. the music chiming through the house , the fire burning in the fireplace with stockings hanging, christmas lights strung, snow outside and just being full of excitement not being able to sleep all night....such good memories...hate how fast life goes...

I used to have a colored set of these lights as a kid. I must have had them for fifteen years and I always had them wrapped around my bed frame. I loved these lights so much growing up! I wish they would make lights like these again.

I can't believe my mom threw these out, it was always the main thing to look forward to on the tree, and to hear these sounds whenever I walked into my house. It always made me so happy, I'm going to try to buy some just like the colored ones we had.

Incredible how on the first song i knew exactly what was going to play next... We had those in the multiple trees we had... Then my parents bought a fiberoptic tree which had lights already integrated... Then my dad then put these lights outdoors in our entrance.... He still has those lights but the music box has long gone stopped working... This video just makes me happy to remember how such benign christmas lights can have such an impact on our lives. I moved to a house 8 years ago and they had left these same lights in their garage still hanging. When I turned them on to see if they still worked, I was in shock! I nearly cried because it was all these memories of wanting these as a child and never been able to afford them. I’d walk by rich people house and would see them twinkle with these songs on. It was so so sad but here I was with these strings in my garage. I was too afraid to take them down and just a few months ago when I moved out I did what I was dreading. Oh wow….first song released a memory of me sitting in the living room waiting for Santa and o couldn’t stay up. I tried watching the lights & they were so pretty, humming the songs as they changed. Only to wake up in my bed (obviously mom carried me to my room) and I vowed each Christmas to see Santa. I was probably 5 or 6 at the time

I have decorated for Christmas since I was 10 and my dad would show up from work and surprise me with all types of lights. I remember having these same one and another model. I have been looking for them but seems the ones now get really hot fast and they dont last as long as this.

My mom got some of these when I was little and it was back in the early 90s. Ours were the colored lights though and yeah the bulbs would die out, they did come with replacement bulbs back then though. I’m just sick tonight. These lights are all I have left of my late husband. I was so proud of myself because I found where the red light was out and got them working! But the music had stopped. Stupid me opens it up on the back to see what was wrong. Now nothing works. As crazy as it may be to anyone else, these were special, and I’ve cried all night. I don’t know how to fix them.
