Ms Landers, oh how I love to watch! The lessons learned, the pleasures of your lifestyle letting me view, as you tell us your story. One thing I want to tell you, is your style of videoing-“showing your hands” to introduce us to what you are sharing with us. Your hands look “so much” like my beloved mother-in-law’s. I almost think they are her’s! She was a schoolteacher and she loved antiques, books, poems, history and loved her home and family. A great cook. She taught me so much in the 30 years I was fortunate enough to have her in my life!

I love how everything not only has a place in your home, but more importantly a place in your heart! Almost everything in my home has a story. I have my mother's childhood books (Bambi, Bambi's Children, Little Women, Little Men, Heidi, Heidi Grows Up, and several Mother Westwinds) and a stuff teddy bear, kitten and rabbit! And I have many of my father's childhood books from his church. There is a KZfaq channel called The Northern Mudlarkers. It is two artists who are mother and daughter. They find so many interesting things in Scotland and northeast England that they use to make art, including clay pipe bowls into whimsical houses, broken pieces of glass into beads. They get so excited when they find doll legs, arms and heads. Such fun to watch! Thank you for the tour. Happy and blessed New Year!

I love your home. I really love and cherish my antiques as well. I smiled when you said you keep your Christmas decor in the hat boxes...lol. That's what I have always done too. Anything that usually stays empty (hat boxes, dressers, old lid picnic baskets, etc.) I will use to store Christmas in for that particular room. It saves so many steps, my knees and hips. Your house is so much my style. It's not a house but a home because everything has heart and meaning. God bless

What a fascinating home you have! I love it all! When my husband and I were first married thirty years ago we bought a gorgeous nearly 100 year old home with all the woodwork and pocket doors, etc. The only thing it needed was decorating as all the wiring, plumbing, windows and roof were done. We quickly went to auctions and curiosity shops and filled it with timeless splendor. Now we live in a modern home but kept our favorite antique pieces of that time. We have become “eclectic!” Thank you for the tour and the stories. Enjoyed this immensely!

Things that tell stories, that aren't flawless, and most of which are handmade and well loved--that's what's truly precious about them. I have a quilt in the same rose/floral fabric as the one on your guest bed. I also adore toiles and just recently have been in the market for wallpaper, for an accent wall in my bedroom. When I joined a local doll club about 10 years ago, I never knew how my love for antique dolls and their beautiful costumes would grow into the large collection I have now. It's so nice to see that you love the old toys too!

Your house is amazing! I love all your videos. I got my oldest granddaughter watching them over Christmas vacation! The doll that's stuffed with stockibgs brought back memories of my grandmother. She would make crazy quilts out of old worn dresses and shirts, and she stuffed them with stockings!

Love the landing. I collect old toys also with an emphasis on old Teddy bears, and I have a green child's cabinet too. I collected children's cabinets for awhile and ran out of room for them. I have been waiting to tell you that my Orange kitty, Essence, was in awe of this video. Last week I was getting ready for work. I propped my tablet on the chair and Essence climbed on a shelf in the open linen closet ( our normal morning routine) I happened to glance at her and she was literally on the edge of her seat watching every move you made with the sheep and birds!! I think the cats bell had gotten her attention and then as you held each animal she got more and more engrossed in what you were showing and had to say! It was a lovely video and the home is so inviting. I enjoy your time you spend on these and apparently Essence does as well!

Wow Jeri, I loved this ❤️ you have such beautiful hair! Great to get a glimpse of you. I love your collections, and have most of those things myself. I have antique German sheep, and wondered if you collect any handmade wooden boxes? I have a collection of the round and oblong band boxes (usually secured with small pegs and birch bark stitching) the “Tupperware” of the 1800’s which stored everything from butter, to spices to tobacco. I also have some antique dolls, mostly French, but I love how you have displayed your China heads and love their original form. I have wood carved, made paper mache figures and needle felted, limited weaving. I love minatures and have little displays around like yours. I just feel like you are a kindred sister ❤️❤️ thanks for sharing with us 🤩
