Didn't know Piero Piccioni was known outside of Italy...my grandfather worked with him in Rome back in the 70s(along with other composers of that time). I remember when I was young he used to make me listen to these kind of tracks every time I went visiting him and my grandmother. This video awakens memories I thought were lost forever, thanks a lot! ❤

I love his music. It's so dreamy. It's the type of music that even if you have the shittiest day, you just put on his songs and then voilà, everything will be fine. It must be an ethereal, nostalgic experience to get to listen to his music as a kid. I'm from Thailand, by the way. I got a recommendation of his songs on my page a couple years ago.

Huge fan of his music too! I came across it during lockdown, and I found it very calming to listen to, and it opened a door to more Italian artists that I really enjoy. And I'm coming all the way from Texas :)

Piero Piccioni and many Italian composers are definitely underestimated and were underrepresented in American market. You easily find records of Mancini in Northen America but not Piccioni.
