Here is the First Part of " Vintage Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator Tutorial".
In this episode we will look at How to Create Vintage Text Effect in Adobe Illustrator. In this design I have used Royal Signage font, Which I got it in a Font Bundle. We have applied a style to it using very simple techniques. And after that we have added some vector shapes in the background, Individual vectors to fill up the empty spaces. If you see the composition , it looks great and amazing. So will be talking about it and see all the steps that you need to know to such designs. He have used Offset path and Blending options during the process. So Check out the video to see the full in-depth tutorial.

When selecting your Glyph, (Show:) you can select "Alternatives For Current Selection" in the small dropdown menu, and it will only show for what ever font you have your mouse over!

AHHHHHH!!! I'm doing everything exactly as you, but when I get to the 13:20 mark, my illustrator says "The filter produced no results.Please select two overlapping paths." I've selected the background AND the stripes, but still nothing. HELP!! hahaha
