Loved seeing you admire those blue plates in the beginning those are a family heirloom in our family. My mother collects the “Mother’s Day” version given to her from my grandma, and she has been buying me the “Child’s Day” version since 1984 which is the first year edition. My grandma collected the “Christmas” blue plates as well, which my Aunt now has. Love!!❤

Thrift store shopping sometimes involves a little DIY that turns trash into treasure. I’m into shopping for vintage prints and frames. The vintage bank or music box of a oil rig with the tune of the Impossible Dream was very cool.

My Grandparents had a printer tray on their wall and it was popular at that time to have miniature items in each of the little openings. I loved looking at them as a child. Fascinating as it was, the grown up me likes the idea of just the tray hanging on the wall in its simplicity. It seems like all the little bits and bobs were a bit on the dusty side, as I recall. ;-)

CLAREMORE, OK. You MUST travel the 20 minutes to downtown Claremore. Literally nothing but VINTAGE THRIFT STORES!!!!! Only a couple have any clothing. All treasures.

In the cottage completed tour Sharrah asked us TO NAME THAT TUNE. I still can't. Can you? I took a wild guess and said OKLAHOMA!!! But I can't hear it now. Anyone got a guess with this longer play? 🤔🎶 And I wonder if that once occupied an executive office shelf of an Oil Barron. Perhaps a gift from a grateful family member or business partner.
