Freelton, Woodstock and Southworks in Cambridge are my 3 go-to antique markets. We make an effort to get to them at least once a year. The Woodstock one has definitely changed over the last couple of years for the better. Thank you for sharing!

After seeing this video and knowing we'd be travelling back to Ontario from Australia to visit my family in September, we thought we'd make this place a road trip. It was a big drive from where my folks live but definitely worth it ! I said hello to that incredibly enthusiastic guy who greeted us as we walked in and when he asked us how we heard of the place I told him Michael Mercy. Well ... he loved that ! Such a character. With the roadworks, it was a challenge to find parking but I anticipated that thanks to this video. The place is enormous ! What I love is that there is something for everybody there and not just toys, it was the only way my wife was kept happy enough to stay for the couple of hours that we did. My kids both found some treasures there, which we brought back with us. My wife and I had many "Oh I used to have that" moments. I saw things like the old cordless phone we had and probably the most mind blowing was the 2 tone brown Fischer-Price cassette player that I remember having as a kid over 40 years ago. This channel is great and this particular recommendation ended up being a fun road trip for the whole family a couple of weeks ago. Thank you.

@MichaelMercy9 ай бұрын
I don't collect vintage games but this place has lots.
@dylanvanwijk9223 Жыл бұрын
Hi Michael. I just discovered and subscribed to your channel. I have a few questions.1 - You seem to know of Star Trek, so why don't you collect their toys? 2 - What about Bionic 6. They were a favorite show of mine in the 80s and I had all the toys. Did you just not like the show or was there something wrong with the toys? 3 - I live in South Africa, so due to apartheid we couldn't get Transformers here. We could however get Gobots. Some of my favorite childhood toys were my Gobots. Both Bionic 6 and Gobots were mostly made of dicast metal. Is this a reason you don't collect them and does it make them inferior.
@MichaelMercy Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I have some Star Trek and Gobots. For some shows and movies, I don't need to have a lot or any merchandise from it. Not collecting something doesn't make it inferior, it's just a personal preference. Cheers.
