I'm not suffering much from this virus but my Grandmother is not doing well, she is immuno compromised but she doesn't have the virus. She does have dementia and she is currently out of her routine. She lives in an assisted living facility and no one is allowed to visit her and they don't want anyone out of her rooms. This means she cannot leave her room at all or even go down to the dining room for meals. This is really bad for her dementia because she is very much out of her routine and it's causing her to be delusional. For example, 2 days ago, she thought she had to go see my Grandfather at his work. My Grandfather has been dead for over 7 years and has been retired for at least 20 years. I'm sorry to hear about your concern for your mother and I hope she doesn't get the virus. I hope no one else gets the virus and BIG prayers for Dan Newman. I hope he recovers from this virus.

Luckily, my Grandma (who lives in Washington State) hasn't had any virus and neither are my parents or any other family, I know that my Grandpa had passed away years ago (which was mainly because of cancer).

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes I have the worst strain of COVID-19. The bad news is I've been hospitalized for over a month and have almost died multiple times. The good news I made it past all of that and am in the final healing process. I will have to relearn a lot of things like driving, and even typing, but at this point I have made it out of the danger zone and should be home soon. For anyone reading, I am relatively young (under 40), have no health problems or risk factors, and was practicing safe social distancing (no groups larger than 10, washing hands constantly, etc.) I havent met anyone else that had it, and havent been out of the country recently. I have no idea how I got it and am living (thankfully) proof that ANYONE can get it so PLEASE be careful. DO NOT listen to anyone telling you it's a hoax, or large groups are still ok. Cole's points in this video are excellent. It's not even worth that trip to Menards if it can wait until thinks get better. That said, small businesses need our support or they will fail during this time. Get takeout from that local restaurant. Order a gift card from that local store that you shop at once it's safe again. For those of you who have sent me messages, replying is hard, but I have seen them and I appreciate them. Once I am home, my full story will be on Facebook as well as multiple Wisconsin TV stations and Newspapers. I might put it on KZfaq as well. Thanks again Cole for the kind words. They mean a lot.

Yep, times are very tough, especially during this crazy COVID-19 pandemic when everyone was going crazy-buying fearing for their lives. Just remember this: "Why worry? God Is In Control." Anyway, you stay safe, healthy, home and God can change things for the better.

Fan of your channel, former-collector. Still have several/many of my former collection in storage about 2k miles away from me in a (hopefully) dry crawl space. My house has several Casablancas, a Hunter, a Fasco, and an Emerson. (Was a new build-for-me house, just swapped out all the builder crap with my own fixtures inside and out). I even did a fan swap or two with Dan 15-20 years ago. (Didn’t know he was ill. All my best to him and his family). I’m just not big on social media.
