As of MLP:FIM's 100th episode... Vinyl and Octavia as roommates IS OFFICIAL CANON! (Vinyl doesn't have a voice yet, though.) Lyra and Bon Bon's friendship is canon too... with a very weird twist.

Before they were the Cutie Mark Consultants, there were no Cutie Mark Consultants to be consulted, and thus no crusader-cum-consultant could've consulted with anyone - well, anyone competent - to see that consulting could be a compelling career path. ...Also, plot convenience.

Yeah, www.sustainablebabysteps.com/what-is-bleach.html says it's very highly corrosive and also very highly deadly. I had no idea what bleach is like, but I were sure it's not healthy. No wonder they cut water: to remove it from pipes before they're corroded through, and to prevent someone getting killed by the well-meaning mistake.
