Young lady, in all your shopping have you seen any kind of a clear coat finish for wood, for exterior use that has uv ( ultra violet) protection. All I can find is varnish or lacquer which is strictly an indoor only finish. I have found a couple things that claim to be for exterior use but the sun destroys them within a few weeks. I hate to have to order that kind of stuff from US because if it leaks in the box it will destroy everything in it. All the places here seem to carry the same thing and when I say uv protection they have no idea what I'm talking about. If there is a place that carries industrial finishes or maybe marine finishes they should have something that would work. Idealy I would like to find satin finish, spar varnish , for wood, uv protection. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
