Those pellets you saw beforehand are how they get their colour. Masses of them are melted down into the base plastic a record is made from

They're flattened by the press, and then they get left to harden.

Maybe cancer in the future ^^ Potential risk to have a cancer are everywhere around us. The only one solution to be sure , 100% cancer , is to die , now ^^

Transparent / clear vinyl is not as high quality as coloured vinyl.

I know I’m being a stick in the mud but why the fascination with colors and special effects in records? They don’t sound as good as I have been told and can go bad with age. Hard enough to make a good recording/pressing, I rather have it sound better than be colorful.

Purely aesthetics. It just looks cool and sometimes compliments the album cover very nicely. The difference in quality of sound is negligible.

I never detect a sound difference between black and colored or splatter. Now the picture discs are not worth trying to play. They are only good for decor or collecting. Not for playing

@@pablouribe8218 Bullshit. Colored vinyl is way more susceptible to static and it's longevity is greatly reduced. This has been studied ever since colored vinyl has been around.

You do know that this pressing plant (Pallas Germany) is considered to produce the highest quality, cleanest, flattest, most faultless vinyl records in the world? Just ask an audiophile or anyone who knows about vinyl records.

@@PALLASGROUPde Maybe something that doesn't come across as generic. I know that it's hard with licencing, but you could go with your own music taste, whatever that may be. It would give your videos more personality, which is never a bad thing when it comes to music industry branding. Possibly do a rotation with the people working in the plant? Or you could sample the records that you're showcasing, and leave a link to it. It could be like a journal of all the records you've produced which I think would be a good idea.
